Scouts and families, Looking forward to this weekend’s overnighter at Lake Del Valle’s Wild Turkey Group campsite! The annual overnight camp out is always a fun event. A a good chance for whole families to come out and share the outdoors. We’ll have games, hikes, food and a campfire program with skits and songs. Put on your uniforms and don’t miss it, because it’s a big one! We’ll meet the new Tigers, fill out your registration forms, [...] Ah, school has started! Welcome back everyone, time for some Cub Scout fun! Thursday August 25th we’re having an informal Pack meeting. We’ll be sharing information about the upcoming campout at Lake Del Valle and having a little fun. Tell your Tiger-age friends, they’re welcome to come! October 29, 2011 we will board Balclutha, a 19th century tall ship moored on Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco for an unforgettable overnight experience. We have 21 families signed up for the overnighter! The forecast of chance of rain may deter some of you from attending this weekend. Somewhat excited to camp in the rain and find creative ways to keep ourselves occupied, dry, and [...] Grab your tents; it’s time for Pack 828’s annual overnight campout, May 14th-15th. This year it’s at beautiful Gillespie Camp in Tilden Park. Our pack committee chair recently visited the site and it’s quite nice, with running-water restrooms, large play field, and great campfire areas! See some pictures on Facebook here. This is a really fun event where you get to sleep on board an actual WWII era aircraft carrier; and not just any carrier, but the very ship that picked up the astronauts when they returned from the Moon in 1969!
